Terminology Common to Digital Signage
Slivercasting - Think of "slivercasting" as narrowcasting in the extreme. A slivercast is just what the name implies. Sending your advertising message to an extremely small highly targeted sliver of the population. For instance a slivercast may involve sending your advertising to a department store branch located in southern California between the hours of 4.00pm and 6.00pm to draw attention to a product made specifically for school age buyers in that region.
